Elizabeth Taylor Dead | Liz Taylor News

Elizabeth Taylor, who died of congestive heart failure in Wednesday, March 23, will be laid to rest next to her parents, Francis and Sara at Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery.

Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor was born in London in February 27, 1932 , the second child of Francis Lenn Taylor and Sara Viola Warmbrodt. Beginning as a child star throughout her adult life she was known for her talent, charm and beauty acts and a highly publicized personal life, which included eight marriages, several near-death experiences and past decades as a social activist, fighting against the cause of AIDS, prevention and cure.

Liz signed a contract by MGM in 1943, which was based on the talents of children, many of which were used by adolescents, or disappear forever, or is absorbed into the ranks of the players character. Unlike many rising stars of yesterday and today, Taylor has blossomed into a teenager and seemed very relaxed in the plush new body quickly became a favorite on the big screen.

The American Foundation for AIDS Research has also paid tribute to Liz. In a statement, the nonprofit organization, said: "Dame Elizabeth compassion, charisma and generosity will be missed by us all, it leaves behind a monumental legacy that has improved and extended millions of enrich lives and countless future generations."
