Joran van der Sloot could be sent back to Holland. While the disappearance of Natalee Holloway has not yet been resolved, a new extradition treaty signed this week between the Netherlands and Peru.
Van der Sloot was in the Miguel Castro prison in Lima on charges of first degree murder and robbery in the death of Stephanie Flores Ramirez, 21 years. Authorities found the body of Flores' in June at a Lima hotel room registered to Van der Sloot.
Police said Van der Sloot admitted he attacked Flores on May 30 after reading an email on his computer connection to the case of Holloway, who disappeared while vacationing in Aruba in 2005. After killing Flores, Van der Sloot took the money and credit cards from her purse and fled to Chile.
Prior to her new television series, Beth Holloway said the news about case of Stephany Ramirez murder changed her mind on the case of her daughter. Now Holloway believes that her daughter died.
