Peyton Hillis, Cleveland Browns running back was announced Wednesday as the winner of the fan vote on ESPN.com for new cover athlete of Madden NFL 12. Hillis collecting 66 percent of the votes defeated the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan of the Atlanta
Falcons for the cover of the popular NFL video game franchise.
More than 12 million votes tallied since the contest's March 21 launch. Vick said Hillis he was happy for Hillis and proud of what he has done in the vote.
On August 30, Madden NFL 12 comes out for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and Playstation 2.
