SAG Awards 2011 | Ernest Borgnine Won Life Achievement Award

Ernest Borgnine received the Life Achievement award at the 17th annual SAG Awards for over 70 years of work on film and television. He is a legendary Hollywood actor, who worked for nearly six decades.

Ernest Borgnine has won numerous awards for his acting career also-Golden Globe Awards, Oscar and was nominated for many awards and now he has won the most prestigious award - Lifetime Achievement Award at the 17th Annual SAG Awards for his participation in numerous films, television series and also for being a decorated veteran of the Navy.

Borgnine said "Yes, it all started with a question - have you ever thought of becoming an actor? Well, I went ahead and became an actor." Tears a Borgnine recalled how his mother first asked him if he had ever thought of becoming an actor on his return from the Second World War.
