Tina Marie - Lovergirl Singer Passes Away at 54

Tina Marie, singer the Grammy-nominated R & B singer, songwriter and producer has died. Her manager said Sunday. Mary was especially known for his work with the late funk legend Rick James. Born Maria Cristina Brockert, Teena Marie became famous in the 70 and 80. Marie was known for her hit song Lovergirl.

Aaccording to the manager of Teena Marie - Marie's daughter found him unresponsive at home. Tina was sick and had hit the scene just last month. Mike Gardner, Marie’s Manager of the cable television network on its website has confirmed Marie was dead at 54.
