Carol Anne Riddell and John Partilla | Uncontrolled Love

Carol Anne Riddell and John Partilla met in 2006 in a pre-kindergarten classroom. They fell in love while both were still married to others. They both had children attending the same Upper West Side school. Ms. Riddell was a journalist and presenter at WNBC television in New York and a mother of two children. A glamorous little woman with a firm handshake and strong opinions, it is not one to easily dazzled, but was struck by the exuberance of Mr. Partille.

The connection was immediate, but friendly In fact, since they became friends so did their spouse. They had dinners and even family vacations together. “I didn’t admit to anyone how I felt,” Ms. Riddell said. “To even think about it was disruptive and disloyal.”
