Bret Michaels, who is facing heart surgery, proposed to Kristi Lynn Gibson, his girlfriend, during the finale of his reality "Bret Michaels: Life as I Know It" on VH1 Monday night. The couple had been together, off and on for over 16 years. Kristi Gibson, 39, is the mother of his daughter Raine, 10, and Jorja, 5 Michaels had recently been linked to the affair with Tish Cyrus. Miley Cyrus's mother would have had a relationship with rocker Michaels, before separating from her husband Billy Ray Cyrus.
Michaels got down on one knee and asked Gibson "to be my wife. Please say yes or the rejection will kill me right now." Michaels, who suffered a near-fatal brain hemorrhage in April acknowledged that Gibbons beside him in difficult times.
