Michael Waltrip Wins in Daytona International Speedway

Michael Waltrip made a pass sling Elliott Sadler at the end of a green-white-checkered-flag finish to win Friday night Nextera energy Resources Camping 250 World Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway. This is the day from his first victory after ten years in the Daytona 500.

Elliott Sadler drove around a green field 81 that was in the short term, as another caution flew a few laps after an accident, Jennifer Jo Cobb, Justin Lofton and David Starr. Cobb avoided hitting someone coming down pit road. Sadler led the field to green with Michael Waltrip at his side who appeared let down Sadler and Waltrip dropped behind to push. They were followed by Dillon, Kligerman and Cole Whitt.

The victory in the match of the season, who spent three laps the scheduled distance of 100 laps, Waltrip was the first in the Truck Series. Jeffrey Earnhardt also picked up his career-best finish in his sixth start.

The top 10 finishers were: Waltrip, Sadler, Clay Rogers, Paludo, Busch, Cobb, Jeffrey Earnhardt, Ricky Carmichael, Buescher, and Aric Almirola.
